Health and safety

Aurigin has a health and safety policy in place, underpinned by a behaviour-based health and safety management system. Besides this policy, which provides general guidelines and minimum standards, competence in managing health and safety issues and awareness of risks and hazards are developed through on-going training and communication and through practical experience in specific work circumstances and environments.

The Aurigin management system is focused on the following key aspects:

  1. Working safely: it’s a culture
  2. Driving safely
  3. Drilling activities
  4. Endemic diseases – malaria
  5. Hygiene management
  6. Working at height
  7. Crisis and emergency management
